Role Overview

Oliveboard is one of India’s leading online preparation platforms for Banking, SSC, Railways,

Regulatory and State-level competitive exams. Our YouTube channel is a primary discovery and

trust-building surface for lakhs of aspirants every month.

We are looking for a YouTube Growth Manager who will own the channel end to end. You will

set the content strategy, decide what gets made and how it gets packaged, work directly with

faculty and the video team to lift retention and Average Percentage Viewed, and turn channel

analytics into decisions that move subscribers, watch time and views. This is an ownership role,

not a scheduling role. You will also support a smaller set of creator and affiliate partnership

activities that feed the same organic growth engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Own channel growth targets across subscribers, views, watch time, retention curves and

Average Percentage Viewed (APV).

• Set the standard for titles, thumbnails, hooks, structure and pacing and run structured

A/B tests on packaging and document what works.

• Report channel performance weekly using YouTube Studio, YouTube Analytics, etc.

• Support affiliate promotions through youtube and work on new organic growth

experiments as priorities shift.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience managing and growing YouTube channels, preferably in edtech,

media or the creator ecosystem.

• Strong working knowledge of how YouTube distribution actually works: impressions,

CTR, retention, APV, session behaviour and recommended traffic.

• Comfort with spreadsheets, trackers and clean data hygiene.

• Strong written and verbal communication in English. Working proficiency in Hindi

preferred.

• Hands-on use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity for research,

content review, scripting support and reporting.

• Bonus: Experience with managing multiple channels and influencer or affiliate marketing,

or marketing automation platforms such as CleverTap, MoEngage or WebEngage.
